The new double a-sided single from The Jeanines provides two short and sweet indiepop songs that clock in at ninety seconds each. The band’s retro inspired sound still manages to be distinctive, well they cannot fail to be otherwise given the voice of Alicia Jeanine, but can still send the old timers like me back to the 1980s and the days of fanzines and flexis. The Photocopies – I Can’t Imagine What You See In Him

There is more than in a hint of The Wedding Present musically, in the song title and lyrics found on the ever prolific Sean Turner’s latest single. That’s not a bad thing of course but, like The Reds, Pinks & Purples , it’s becoming harder to distinguish between each song because of the sheer volume.
