The new double a-sided single from The Jeanines provides two short and sweet indiepop songs that clock in at ninety seconds each. The band’s retro inspired sound still manages to be distinctive, well they cannot fail to be otherwise given the voice of Alicia Jeanine, but can still send the old timers like me back to the 1980s and the days of fanzines and flexis.
Of course American bands later picked up on that twee inspired sound so whether it’s Talulah Gosh or Henry’s Dress that floats your boat you will want to get your indiepop mitts on one of these limited 7″ singles.
