This weeks pack of three features three releases from French label Howlin’ Banana Records. Cloud Factory – Cloud Factory #1 Cloud Factory are a Pop/Post punk band hailing from Toulouse. They consist of Alice (keyboard/vocals, Ben (bass), Bruno (drums), Robin (guitar) and Romain (guitar). This self titled EP is their debut release.  The music is mainly inspired by garage rock but there other influences such as indie pop and a punk attitude also running through. Fawns Of Love – Someday (Robin Guthrie Version)

Robin Guthrie has recorded and mixed The Fawns Of Love track Someday from last years Permanent album which I said was ripe for a remix when it first came out! It is somewhat ironic as I have always thought that the band had a bit of The Cocteau Twins about their person. Guthrie has always been one of my favourite remixes and he slows the track right down turning it into a dreamy, swirling ethereal track that highlights the lovely voice of Jenny Andreotti.
