Parsnip – Lift Off!

Australian girl group revivalists Parsnip will be releasing their debut album When The Trees Bear Fruit on Trouble in Mind Records at the end of August. The first track previewed from the album is Lift Off! and, once more, we are given a 1960s inspired treat. It’s a harmonious song as all the band members join in whilst heads start swaying from side to side. It reminds me on those sing-along songs that used to appear on kid’s shows when I was growing up. Norways’ The Age of Colored Lizards have, over the past couple of releases, moved further and further away from their shoegazing roots and Blurry Eyes is no exception.
