French band Callière are in danger of being upstaged by their remixers. First it was The Churchhill Garden and now it’s 93MillionMilesFromTheSun who shine, turning their attention to the band’s most recent single Tombstones. The original was an ethereal and hypnotic affair. Doncaster’s finest concentrate on the latter and deliver a hazy, trippy journey with hints of drone and psychedelia thrown into the blender. It holds your attention for the full ten minutes as you simply become mesmerised by the beat. One for the headphones that’s for sure!

I am not sure who the band and/or label are aiming at with that price on Bandcamp mind. I picked my copy up from Qobuz.
