Witterings from an old indie kid

Ricky Hell – Nela Park

You may well miss this one as it rolls out in just 65 seconds. However, Nela Park is one of the catchiest songs I have heard for a long time despite the sombre lyrics. It is also the standout track on Ricky Hell’s new Blue Lips EP which contains two other two tracks both of which are also fine examples of post-punk inspired power pop. You can get it from Quality Time Records here.
