The Kensingtons have released their new extended EP/Mini album (delete as appropriate). Titled All It Was, Was Everything it’s chock a block full of frantic, fuzzy guitar-based indiepop although they do get onto some quieter moments such as I’ll Think About Tomorrow in The Morning.
The band, who are veterans of the indiepop scene, would appeal to fans of those other old stalwarts The Wedding Present especially when it comes to the title track and closing track Naive. It’s the former, with its excellent accompanying video, that stands out for me. Party like it’s 1988!
The CD version is on hold at present but you can purchase it digitally from the band.
