Blanco’s follow up to last Octobers Wake With Moon Tide covers both sides of the indiepop coin. Isolated City is a laid back affair packed to the rafters with gloomy lyrics whilst Paradise is more upbeat despite the foreboding the lyrics hint at. However the potential misfortune is soon forgotten with the boy/girl vocals and the guitar/synth combination that invoke memories of 1960’s psychedelic pop which will soon have you nodding along.
