Sleepsong is the third track/single to be lifted from the band’s forthcoming self-titled EP. They head back to the days when music was being made that would soon influence what became known as Shoegaze. The song itself is very much in the style of the Cocteau Twins or, if you need a more recent example, similar to what Fawns Of Love have been doing these past couple of years. Swirling, haunting and ethereal. Not to mention that gorgeous voice. That’s all my boxes ticked then!
Sleepsong is out now via Sonic Cathedral. The Deary EP is out on November 17 2023 and can be pre-ordered in a range of formats from the label.
