Witterings from an old indie kid

Chain Wallet – World I Used to Call Mine

Norwegian outfit Chain Wallet have taken a third single from their forthcoming (difficult?) second album No Ritual. World I Used to Call Mine has guitars that shine above the melodrama of the song which has it’s roots in the early 1980’s new wave/powerpop era. The track is full of energy and, despite the moodiness of the words, plenty of enthusiasm.

No Ritual is due out in the middle of next month on vinyl, CD, cassette and digital formats. Pre-order it from Jansen Records.
