Caution – Buy My Life

New to me band Caution hail from Maryland and were formed by Nora Button and Cash Langdon formerly of Washington based Saturday Night. The band have just released their new self titled extended EP/Mini album for their new label Born Yesterday Records.

Buy My Life is one of the tracks from the EP and I am impressed by its fuzzy and trippy vibe. It reminds me of the music that came out at the end of the 1980s and early 1990s and if it was released back then I am sure it would have seen a remix or two.

As for the rest of the EP, it has a JAMC/Creation Records undercurrent running through it and at times I wish the guitars were turned up higher and contained more feedback/fuzz but that is just my personal preference. There is always the volume dial! Along with Buy My Life, Love’s A High Bow and Swallow stand out for me on the first couple of listens.

Caution is available in cassette and digital formats.
