Even As We Speak – Someone

Even As We Speak have released the second single to be taken from the forthcoming album Adelphi that will be jointly released by Discos de Kirlian & Shelflife Records in June. Titled Someone the words & voice interlace with the hook laden keyboards and guitars resulting in a pretty strong sounding indiepop/spacepop hybrid. Marcos Y Molduras – Te Puedes Morir

Marcos Y Molduras follow up previous single La De Parks with new track Te Puedes Morir. Whilst the former was fuzzy brilliance the latter is a slower paced affair which sways onto the side of twee pop. However it is not all sugar sweet as you may first suspect! When the lyrics are translated it hints at darker thoughts as behind the smiling facade the subject matters lover can die if her feelings are not reciprocated. Gulp….. Something For The Weekend? Three Albums

This weeks pack of three consists of three albums on my shopping list. Últim Cavall – Alaska This one has me hooked straight from the off. Literally straight from the opening bars of first track Els llacs which blends seamlessly into Incendi and then into current favourite Tornar A Casa it’s a dreamy journey throughout.
