So, a round up of the Christmas tracks released (or re-released) over the past few weeks. Actually there is some good stuff here and that’s from a self-confessed Christmas track hater. Opening with a blast of punk, the mix settles on an indiepop/twee pop path.
Listen out for efforts from the likes of theCatherines, Swansea Sound and Anselmus amongst others. As usual with this time of year, there are a couple of covers. Dreary take on The Pretenders’ 2000 Miles (what else eh?) whilst Si Farrier delivers a yuletide version of New Order’s Your Silent Face. It’s far better than that sounds. The mix finishes with a piece of beauty from Rachel Love. As ever enjoy!

Thumbs up!
