A Bit of The Other #4

Another mix that moves away from self imposed genre constraints covering ambient, dreampop, ethereal techno and various bleeps and other noises. One act I have been enjoying of late is La Cantinombra Lento who is an Italian artist who delivers ambient re-imagining of post-punk albums. Recently he has worked on New Order and The Cure whilst the latest album featured here is a rework of XTC’s Black Sea.

There are new singles from Dead Can Dance, Salbah’s delightful Her Eyes, Hey Elbow whilst Daniel Avery delivers a blisering remix of Just Mustard’s Endless Deathless. Other tracks include contributions from post-punk artist Annie Hogan, Avalon Emerson & The Charm, Deary, Tangients etc. As ever enjoy!
