The Shiva’s return with their cover of the 1958 hit We Belong Together originally written and recorded by Robert and Johnny. The song was later covered by the likes of Richie Valens amongst others. The song retains its original 1950s gospel inspired rock and roll feel, but the band also manage to weave some psychedelic patterns throughout. It’s a well worked cover. So much so, that you would have been forgiven to think that the song was one of their own compositions.
