Mono Retriever is a full on romp through krautrock, drone and psych tinged synth-pop that answers to the call of the likes of Pram, Broadcast and a band beginning with S that I promised not to mention anymore.
Flipside Pepsi Vacuum ventures into ambient territory with it’s call to nature. Plenty of scratchy sounds mixed with hazy vocals that present a chilled vibe. It could be the sound of My Bloody Valentine if they took the Brian Eno route.
