Today’s Production are a band from China and aside from that there is not much more I have managed to find out about them aside from the words and music are written and composed by Bian Xiaoran.

After translating the press release on Bandcamp 86 is the third single to be taken from a forthcoming album although I can only find one other in the shape of the indie-rockish The Door of Blue Mountain and it’s Banana Splits style tra la las. 86 is a complete contrast being a full on classic sounding shoegaze track complete with layers of melodic noise and ethereal vocals. It’s out now via Maybe Mars.
