Le Pain have produced a cover of Different Drum in memory of Mile Nesmith who sadly passed away a few days ago. Nesmith, the singer and guitarist with the Monkees, wrote the song in 1964 and whilst The Greenbriar Boys were the first band to record the song it became famous in 1967 with the version by The Stone Poneys.
In later years the song has been recorded by The Lemonheads and The Pastels. With the cover Le Pain stay true to the decade when the song was written – covered with their 1960s girl band influenced style of course.
