Fall is the second of four singles which will appear on the The Ashenden Papers forthcoming album and consists of two tracks being Little Jumpy T and Your Starlit Eyes respectively.
The former is a slice of jangling indiepop and once again Rose Melberg, (Tiger Trap, The Softies et al) provides backing vocals. The latter track provides some lovely, orchestral sounds found amongst the various instruments played by frontperson Jason Dezember alongside The Coast Office’s Leon Levy (bass) and Matt Hull (drums). The song itself quite epic and somewhat luscious in places.
Like the previous single Summer there is no pigeonholing here and that makes the next two singles, and that as of yet untitled album of course, a lip smacking prospect. Fall is available here but do yourself a favour and pick up the ridiculous cheap digital discography
