Something For The Weekend? Three New Singles

This weeks pack of three features three new singles to get your weekend off to a flying start!

Lorelei – Decay

The Sydney based band return with a new single which one comment on You Tube refers to as a “banging tune”. The bands blend of dreampop and the fuzzier side of things has always sat well with me and Decay is no exception to that rule. As usual Claudia Schmidt’s voice is lovely as ever and, despite the loosening of the 4AD influences, one could indeed describe this one as “bangin'”.

Why Bonnie – Galveston

Why Bonnie return with a beautiful laid back indiepop song that makes me want to snuggle up under a duvet. Galveston is about memories, resistant to a revisit and an eventual return. The imagery in the video captures the lyrics down to a tee.

The Hepburns Feat. Estella Rosa – Five Miles of Line

Five Miles of Line is the second single to be taken from the forthcoming album Architecture Of The Ages and mighty jolly it is too. Lovely melodies tinged with C86 and sixties pop made even better by the additional vocals provided by Nah’s Estella Rosa. It sounds like sunlight bursting through the dull November clouds here in London town.
