Ah, this is a delight. A cassette release featuring just the one track for streaming in the shape of Old Fashion Virtue from French band EggS. They have managed to create fine art when it comes to blending garage rock with indie pop and the track here is no exception. It’s catchy and dancey as the jangling guitars with a hint of psychedelia take hold. If you buy the thing there is another song titled Turtle Island which is a raw sounding effort resplendent with a swirling organ sound which sounds like the Inspiral Carpets if they had a punk attitude. EggS are for life, not just for Christmas!
