Two From Elefant

Spanish label Elefant Records have announced two releases that have piqued my interest.

First up is Espacio De Tiempo which is a compilation that covers the output of Linda Guilala between 2009-2019. They have had 20 releases during that time and this compilation includes rare and hard to find tracks. Additionally the compilation also sees digital releases committed to a physical format for a first time. I have to say the limited double vinyl package looks very enticing and it will also be available on CD and digital formats. It’s due for release on 22nd May 2020 and you can pre-order Espacio De Tiempo from here.

The second release is on the label’s New Adventures In Pop imprint and will be a self titled 10″ mini album from Fred Fredburger. The label draws comparisons with Heavenly, The Rosehips and The Shop Assistants. I have enjoyed the bands C86 inspired indiepop to date so this one will be an essential purchase for me. Its due for release on 29th May 2020 and can be pre-ordered from here.
