Kent Valley – Blueworks

Here is a find courtesy via Twitter and the user amaotomemo who kindly created me a playlist to help tide me over whilst I work from home during the Covid-19 crisis. It was a pretty good playlist and hopefully I will share more finds but this track caught my ear more than most.

I know nothing about the artist and a search does not bring up anything either. Suffice to say this is a charming track which was released last month. It’s a lo-fi synth (twee synth?) based indiepop that has some lovely noises, vocals and melody. Blueworks only seems to be available for streaming/download although this video suggests a 7″ single may be available although I could not find anything on the label’s website.

EDIT: amaotomemo sent me some more info. You can find out about the artist here whilst a bandcamp page is here.
