Witterings from an old indie kid

Pocari Sweet – Cream

Maybe I should had declared it chillout this week the way the posts are going these past few days!

Today we have another wistful, swirling and a somewhat impressionable track from Chinese band Pocari Sweet. Cream is taken from the Gentle Moon EP that came out last month and features gentle female vocals weaving their way through the delicate layers of soft guitars. The EP’s other tracks consist of traditional shoegaze fare which is done with style and panache none more so than 海风吹 (Sea Breeze) which would have been the standout track for me if it wasn’t for the aforementioned Cream!

It’s not the cheapest EP on bandcamp but, at present, it’s one of the best.
