Witterings from an old indie kid

The Epigones – The Epigones

Inspired musically (and in the artwork too) by British post-punk bands such as Echo & The Bunnymen, The Sound and The Chameleons to name but a few the self titled debut from Ontario’s The Epigones is a mandatory listen.

The songs highlight and showcase the incredibly strong vocals and the band’s guitar based sound. The way these come together both structurally and melodically is impressive to say the least. Just check these songs out and the way the guitars jangle themselves senseless on First Sunday of Your Vacation is particularity astounding to these ears. Anyone wanna buy a bridge?
