Witterings from an old indie kid

Lake Ruth – Extended Leave

Lake Ruth, who feature members of Holy Fuck, The New Lines, and The Eighteenth Day of May, will be releasing their new single as part of the Slumberland Records SLR30 Singles Series. The band’s music is inspired by space-pop, Krautrock, noir and baroque pop amongst others. Extended Leave explores these elements to great effect complete with a pulsating bass line and delicate vocals. It’s one for fans of Broadcast or Stereolab.

Extended Leave will be backed by Strange Interiors and will be released by Slumberland Records at the beginning of next month on 7″ vinyl & digital formats. Pre-order from here.
