Witterings from an old indie kid

Audiobaton – Where You Are

Where You Are by Dallas based Audiobaton is a fuzzy, distorted and noisy shoegaze EP. Alongside the obvious strengths that lie within the songs there are plenty of reference points such as Loop, Jesus and Mary Chain, The Darkside and My Bloody Valentine to name but a few. There are also more than a few nods in the direction of drone and to a lesser extent psychedelia. Songs such as Here and I’ll Run are excellent and should be on any discerning listeners shoegazing playlist but everything on this EP is worth a listen or five.

Where You Are is out now on a pay what you want basis.
