On Your Book the band refrain from the surf rock/rock ‘n roll that has infused their recent releases and return to their alternative rock and shoegazing roots. It’s a melodic track that is slow burning only being interrupted by a frantic burst of guitars before pausing and returning on it’s path. The calm, assured vocals suit the desolate words.
