Texan shoegazers Eternal Something follow up last years Realm//Zone EP with new track Seagoats. It’s another one of those shoegaze tracks that are inspired by poetic imagination and my mind wandered vividly as it played. Pop at Summer hail from Bandung, Indonesia and are another band who continue that city & country’s obsession with indiepop. Unlike some of their peers the band do not replicate Sarah Records note for note and instead produce a mature indie pop sound centered around the voice of their female singer (Givani?). Imagine Strawberry Story fronted by Tracey Thorn and that may give you some clues. The band also cite Swedish pop as an influence but I also hear bits of swing and classical guitar in the mix too.
