Weekend Round Up #1

The Hannah Barberas release their debut album Into The Wild next month. It features 13 tracks including a previous single or two. It will be released on limited green vinyl (via Spinout Nuggets/Doo Lang Records) and cassette (via Gazer Tapes) whilst Subjangle will be releasing a CD version. You can pre-order all from the band. Monnone Alone – Do It Twice

Monnone Alone is Mark Monnone, once of The Lucksmiths, and friends. New single Do It Twice is the second one to be lifted from the forthcoming album Summer of the Mosquito which is due out in May this year. It’s a fuzzy jangling indiepop song that harks back to the glory days of Flying Nun and according to the blurb is an ode to second chances and graciously sabotaging life’s opportunities – just for kicks!.
