Witterings from an old indie kid

Monnone Alone – Do It Twice

Monnone Alone is Mark Monnone, once of The Lucksmiths, and friends.

New single Do It Twice is the second one to be lifted from the forthcoming album Summer of the Mosquito which is due out in May this year. It’s a fuzzy jangling indiepop song that harks back to the glory days of Flying Nun and according to the blurb is an ode to second chances and graciously sabotaging life’s opportunities – just for kicks!.

It’s available on 7″ via a number of labels. Check the band’s bandcamp page for your nearest label.
