Star Horse – Albatross

Albatross is the first we have heard from Sweden’s dreampop act Star Horse since the excellent Slower Now single released back in 2015. It’s worth the wait as Albatross soars across the skies as the song shines, having an almost spiritual feel over the course of it’s eight and a half minutes “flight”. Pocari Sweet – Cream

Maybe I should had declared it chillout this week the way the posts are going these past few days! Today we have another wistful, swirling and a somewhat impressionable track from Chinese band Pocari Sweet. Cream is taken from the Gentle Moon EP that came out last month and features gentle female vocals weaving their way through the delicate layers of soft guitars. Herlights – Lost in the Autumn

More atmospheric chill-out music derived from shoegaze genre. The track errs on the electronic side of things and there is more than a touch of the old “skool” Balearic sound when it comes to the guitar that weaves in and out of the hushed and barely audible vocals.
