Both sides of this excellent 7″ are bouncy, catchy with a distinctive 1970’s punk/pub rock meets glam sound. I am not sure why I am thinking of Canvey Island whilst I listen to this. This one from Nottingham’s TV Crime has been on repeat for a couple of weeks now. Hooligans is one hell a stomper of a tune that has it’s roots deep down in punk, pub rock and power pop alongside it’s terrace chants.
