Like me I am sure you spend your time thinking about the question of life, the universe and everything and questions like what if the Cocteau Twins came from the Basque region rather than Grangemouth? Apparently the answer to the former is 42 (or is it 42 and a bit?) and the answer to the latter may be found on this absolutely stunning track from Verde Prato which is a solo vehicle for one Ana Arsuaga.
If Radio 3’s incredible Mixing It show was still running this song of ethereal beauty may well have been a mainstay. Sadly I know nothing about the act or their discography will delve into that at a later date. That’s if I can get pass listening to this amazing piece of music that is a dreamy mix of folk and electronica.
