Louise Papier is the project of French artist Blanche, no surname! On the debut single Spark Again (I am presuming it is) she is joined by label mate Lesneu. It’s a synth-pop track with 1980s influences whether it’s OMD or minimal wave. I like the way the joint vocals work scattered throughout the track but the voice of Blanche standout regardless. There are some beautiful synths too and the song is a thoughtful, dreamy with a sense of disillusionment too.

Spark Again is taken from the forthcoming EP Les Idées Roses which will be released via Music From The Masses later this year.
