New York’s Sea Shapes are a new name on my listening horizon. It’s a one man project and the previous releases have been influenced heavily by post-punk and shoegaze. That said I Miss The Way is a catchy, dreamy affair featuring hushed vocals, melodic synths and shimmering guitars. It’s time to sift further through that back catalogue me thinks!
I Miss The Way is self released being available via Bandcamp.

Thanks for the heads up. Love how an English person puts band from Queens on a NYer’s RADAR. 🙂
Thanks for the head’s up. New to me as well, and I live in the city. D’oh!
