Phoenix based Shoegazers Glixen have been around for a while now. Formerly known as Dovi I believe Moodswing is the second song released under their new moniker. Moodswing features layers and layers of fuzzy, reverb laden but melodic guitars that build and then encompasses its surroundings. Aislinn Ritchie’s voice adds those 4AD inspired ethereal moments that I am such a sucker for when it comes to shoegaze/dreampop. Nice!
