This week’s pack of three features three new but contrasting singles.
The Plus 4 – You Look Right Through Me
Not sure who The Plus 4 are, but their second single You Look Right Through Me is a full-blown 1960s inspired affair. Sounding like a cross between The Monkees Stepping Stone, The Beatles Ticket To Ryde and The Byrds er, well just The Byrds, it’s a retro pop explosion.

Say She She – Trouble
Trouble could well be the best single to date from Brooklyn’s Say She She. It’s a solid fusion of soul, 1960s girl bands and pop. It’s backed with In My Head and is out now via Colemine Records.
Garden Centre – Shock Site
Quirky post-punk infused pop from Brighton. Shock Site is the first single to be taken from the band’s second album Searching For A Stream which will be released on the 19th May 2023. The vocals remind me of label mates Fresh. Searching For A Stream can be pre-ordered from Specialist Subject Records (UK) with a US release due out on Kanine Records.
