Lights of Sorrow (Apthero) is taken from the second EP by the Nepalese band OutControlJoys. Titled Unturn it features six shoegazing influenced tracks with Lights of Sorrow (Apthero) being one of the standouts for me. It’s a fast driving, upbeat track which errs towards the poppier side of dreampop despite the melancholy of the words. Tracks like These Wavves and Kaha Jaane continue in pretty much the same vein, making for an entertaining listen.
