Betty’s Begonia is the first I have heard from Atta Girl. It’s a great EP where shouty pop, garage, riot grrrl and twee/indiepop collide. The vocals are unique and distinctive to say the least whilst the music supplements them to great effect. I guess they will not be everyone’s cup of tea but thankfully they are mine.
And given the origins of their name, there is also an excellent cover of Heavenly’s P.U.N.K Girl here too.
