I have been playing this one to death ever since it was released earlier today. Purple From Love is just simply a fantastic slice of female fronted shoegaze. It’s quite poppy too and the vocals remind me of so much, but I just cannot pin it down no matter how hard I try. The guitars fuzz merrily along up the garden path, especially when the vocals disappear halfway through the song as they are left to their own devices. To be honest, they could have kept going on in time immemorial. This Japanese band have made some fine songs this past couple of years, but if they better this one, I will be well surprised. If you have not got the gist by now, Purple From Love is well recommended!
