And here are the individual tracks/info:

The Photocopies – I Don’t Want You To Want Me

Another blast of retro indiepop from the exiled Londoner. Fuzzy, poppy and, as ever, as simple and effective as the artwork. It’s backed with another track titled MBV. I am surprised Matinee have not come a calling as of yet.

Beach Vacation – It Soothes Me

A carefree track that is full of bliss and jangling guitars from Seattle’s Beach Vacation.

DAODA – Eternal

It’s been a couple of years since we last heard from Philadelphia’s DAODA and Eternal is well worth that wait. Yearning and melancholic words go up against an expansive dreampop sound. Quite the return.

Overnight – Better Together

Taken from the recent Blush EP, Better Together possesses that mix of dreampop and ethereal female vocals I am such a sucker for. The way the song changes pace throughout grabs one’s attention as you try and second guess the next move. Hook, line and well and truly sunk.

Brace! Brace! – Places

Taken from their forthcoming second album Care French band Brace! Brace! make pleasant pop music with tempered alt-rock and indie influences. Places is no exception to that rule.

Hooper Crescent – Instant Lawn

Australians Hooper Crescent make that post-punk sound with repetitive, jagged guitars with a mix of arty, spoken and sometimes shouty vocals that seems to be a popular mix right now. And why not? It’s a great sound!

The Shop Window – Lighthouse

Lighthouse is the second single which will be found on the band’s forthcoming second album that is due out in the summer of this year mixing up Brit Pop, power pop and jangling guitars on one of those slower, but extravagant pop songs the band does so well.

Aiko El Grupo – Niños Furbito Y Niñas Lo Que Sea

More fun, loud, noisy, punk and riot grrrl inspired indiepop from Spain’s number one fun, loud, noisy, punk and riot grrrl inspired band.

Love Cave – Skinny Puppy Love

Skinny Puppy Love is the latest track to be taken from the forthcoming With Feeling EP from the Vancouver based husband and wife team Amber Poirier and
Linden Poirier also known as Love Cave. Plenty of influences here ranging from grunge to dreampop believe or not. Skinny Puppy Love sounds a bit like Curve from back in the day!

Royal Arch – La Nuit

Athens’ Royal Arch released their debut track La Nuit back in December 2021. It’s now been picked up by Jigsaw Records (US), Me Happy Records (Gr), Fastcut (Jap) and will see a vinyl release later this month. It’s an atmospheric, epic and sometimes dark dreampop track.
