There will also be two supporting gigs featuring many of the bands on the compilation which will be in Bristol (Thunderbolt, 23rd April) and London (Amersham Arms, 24th April). I hope to be at the latter!

Japanese Heart Software – On The Way Down

On The way Down is taken from the brand new album Soft that is out now from the Melbourne based act which is the project of Nat Chippy from VIM. Synth-pop mixed with reverb!

Thanks For Coming – Dear Rachel

Taken from then latest album titled Rachel Jr. from the Brooklyn based act which I have not previously heard. The project is one Rachel Brown which explains more about the song and album titles. An interesting album and given the discography I have some delving to do!

Beautiful and ethereal dream pop from Brasília’s Moon Pics. Over (Arrows) is taken from the latest extended EP titled Memoria. It’s out on cassette via Midsummer Madness or digitally from the band.

Kindsight – Sun Is Always in My Eyes

Johnnie Carwash – Teenage Ends

Teenage Ends is the title track of the French garage punk band’s new album that is out next week via Howlin’ Banana Records. Fabulous video too – no that’s not the band it would be flippin’ great if it was!

Kodiak Island – Anything, Everything

Anything, Everything is taken from the band’s forthcoming EP Play To Your Strengths. If the rest of the EP is as good as this is then well… phew. The EP will be available on 10″ vinyl, compact disc and digital formats via i40Records, which is the debut release for the label set up by the Everything IndieOver40 social media community.
