Florida’s Cathedral Bells return with a new song as part of their label Spirit Goth’s singles series. It’s a moody but jangling track that takes in elements from both indie and dream pop/You can get this one from here.

Grandmas House – Golden

Loud and fierce. That’s just to vocals and bass. I don’t cover too much punk influenced music these days but let’s rectify that with Golden which is taken from the new self titled EP/mini-album from the all-female, queer punk trio Grandmas House. Out now on Brace Yourself Records.

FLTY BRGR GRL – Duet

FLTY BRGR GRL are a pop band from Oslo Norway who make music with a 1960s vibe. The dreamy Duet, which is taken from their recent album Love You Forever, is no exception. Luster Dust – Of Course It Happened To Us

Of Course It Happened To Us is the lead track from Sunflower which is the latest EP from Toronto’s Luster Dust. The amazing religious imagery belies the hazy and melodic dreampop found on the track. Beautiful and haunting. Sunflower is available from here on a pay what you want basis.

The new single from Brisbane’s Terra Pines is the first we get to hear from their forthcoming album Downbeats which is due for release next year. Mixing shoegaze and grungy guitars Downbeat also features some delicious and very ear catching vocals from guitarist/vocalist Kelly Hanlon. That album is due for release on False Peak Records.

Day Three is taken from Glok’s (Andy Bell from Ride’s electronic guise) latest album Pattern Recognition. The album features various styles whilst Day Three is an edgy ambient piece of music.
