Kevin Alvir (The Hairs, The Knight School) has not recorded under the The Lil’ Hospital name for quite sometime (since 2008?) so I was pleased to see this one pop up in my Bandcamp feed having enjoyed the previous unpredictable blend of twee and indiepop recorded under the moniker.

Whilst the fuzzy short DOLPHINS!! doesn’t disappoint it’s Grandpa’s Food that needs to be heard with Alvir’s vocals, drum machine and guitar sparkling amongst the humorous words. An instant bedroom lo-fi classic.
