Post Weekend Pack of Three

I noticed quite a few albums were released this weekend and thought I should mention a few given I have either covered them via their lead singles on these pages and/or featured them on the Mixcloud mixes.

Danish band Communions released their second album Pure Fabrication. It features fifteen tracks (!) including the excellent recent single Splendour. The vocals are striking as are the words that accompany the fusion of indie and alternative pop. Learn To Pray is my highlight so far.

Pure Fabrication is out now via Tambourhinoceros on vinyl, CD and digital formats.

The Lemons have released their concept album that is set in a fictional radio station. Titled WLMN it is packed full of short, jangling tracks that draw their influences from a range of eras and genres. Music to smile too especially on the DJ jingles.

WLMN is out now on vinyl, including a limited lemonade coloured version, from We Are Busy Bodies or buy digitally from the band.

Doncaster’s 93MillionMilesFromTheSun have released their latest album of fuzzy and psychedelic-tinged shoegaze tunes titled Why Do We Fall Apart. The trippy How I Feel and the lively I’ll Never Know are must-hears as well as, well the whole album really.

Pick the album up on CD or digitally direct from the band.
