Osaka’s Still Dreams continue with their mid-1980s New Order obsession on their new single Last True Love. The flip side of their last single sounded like Bizzare Love Triangle and on this one we hear hints of Peter Hook’s bass lifted straight from 1963 alongside the synth-pop beats and singer Maaya’s charming vocals.
It’s backed with Get Over and Elefant’s press writer surpasses their previous efforts with the line “Once again, silk and sparkle, teardrops in sunbeams, hedonism and hope.” The track itself sounds like a remix carried out for the Wigan Casino. Two contrasting but excellent tracks. Be a rebel? No thanks.
Last True Love is taken from the forthcoming mini-album Make Believe that is due for release on April 16th 2021 via Elefant Records. The single itself is also available digitally from here.
