A quick run through some of my recent “post-punk” fixes. A bit of a lazy post (sorry!) but gives me a chance to try out some of the other Bandcamp widgets as well as clearing some outstanding bookmarks! I have covered a few these bands on these pages before and hope to revisit the others sometime in the future.  If you are looking for a quick recommendation I really enjoyed Repetition by Xeroxed Youth, the MOTH single, The Room Without Sun and the Icy Cold Compilation.  Note that compilation and the Alfra Matrix one (check out Cubic, 808 Pop and Metroland on that one) are both free downloads.

Oh whilst I am still trying to remember where I have seen the artwork that inspired the Double Echo sleeve before check out this article about the post-punk scene in Bristol that appeared on Bandcamp last week. Some good stuff to make your way through.
