Phantom Handshakes – No Better Plan

New York’s Phantom Handshakes will be releasing their new album No More Summer Songs on April 30th 2021 and it will be released via the Slovakian label Z Tapes. The band, which is a collaboration between Matt Sklar (Exiles) and Federica Tassano (Sooner, Mônetre), have just released a taster single in the shape of No Better Plan.

It’s a jangling and sometimes dreamy indiepop track which, thanks to Tassano’s voice, has a strong 1960s retro feel. I enjoyed last years debut EP Be Estranged and am looking forward to that new album dropping. Until then give this sparkling new single a spin and/or pick it up from here.
