The new EP from Fascinations Grand Chorus is actually the first release of an album that will be released over three parts and mixes up the bands blend of retro-pop alongside the theme of classic, vintage horror films. Act 1 is the build-up to the scare fest that no doubt will follow. Yep. A new Travis album. Okay, I made that bit up. The songs here set the scene at one of those summer camps that we Brits have no knowledge of but seem to be a staple in the American way of life. The songs are catchy (especially Camp Blood!) but watch out there may be an indiepop slasher about. It’s a cracking idea with excellent artwork to a tee. It’s enough to give you goosebumps…
